Edie Chudnow, PMP, CSM
Edie Chudnow has worked in the project management and training field for over 15 years. Her expertise includes extensive project work in developing and managing software application and development in high performance teams.
Edie graduated with a Master of General Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Edie is also a Certified ScrumMaster. Edie is based in Denver, CO.
Edie was also the project manager for the PMI Mile Hi annual Symposium in 2007 & 2008. This annual event draws 700+ attendees from around the world. As the project manager for a volunteer based project team, Edie has learned what it takes to focus and motivate a group of very diverse stakeholders to accomplish what many believed was impossible.
Denise DeCarlo, PMP

Jayne Gnadt, PMP
Jayne Gnadt has worked in the project management and training field for over 25 years. Her expertise includes extensive project work and training facilitation in the corporate world as well as consulting and speaking engagements in the private sector. She spent 15 years with Citigroup holding a number of leadership and officer-level positions in Operations, Training, and Marketing where she managed a variety of corporate project initiatives. She was with OppenheimerFunds for over 10 years managing Training functions, the Project Office and enterprise-wide projects.
Jayne holds certifications in numerous training programs focusing on project management, leadership, customer service, coaching, and quality management. She also has an extensive background in training development and design, creating unique and engaging learning opportunities for participants. Jayne is based in Denver, CO.
Richard R. (Rick) Griffin, PMP
Rick Griffin has over 26 years of comprehensive and expanding business, management, and leadership experience in both the I/T and education fields. He has had successes as a classroom teacher, principal, coach, corporate manager, corporate trainer, and corporate executive.
He has spent over 20 years in the I/T industry, 18 of those with the IBM Corporation. His corporate management experience includes Finance and Administration, Customer Service and Support, Technology Operations Management, Applications Development, Sales and Marketing, Corporate Training, Customer Relations, Audit and Compliance, and Contract Management. He has managed teams and grown communities for groups of all sizes.
He has over 8 years in the education industry. Rick has developed curriculums for Accounting, Business Management, Business Law, and Technology at the secondary education level. His classroom success within the education field led to leadership roles as an assistant principal and Middle School principal. While in the field of education, he was also a successful athletic coach and advisor to state and national Future Business Leaders of America champions. In addition to the breadth of his business experiences, Rick has had tremendous success coaching and growing leaders, managers, and individuals to potentials beyond their expectations.
Rick earned a BBA degree in Business/Business Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while earning awards for both service and academic excellence. He has been recognized with numerous corporate Leadership, Service, and Excellence awards. Rick is based in Madison, WI.
Elaine M. Krantz, M.S., L.P.C.
Elaine M. Krantz has over 14 years experience in community mental health and currently manages a home-based family therapy program in Adams County, Colorado. As a family therapist most of her work was been delivered in the home and as a result so she has an “up-close and personal” view of the way distressed systems operate. She has trained and provided clinical supervision to scores of therapists and clinicians, serves on numerous county-wide human and social services boards and committees, and has done public speaking on various mental health and relationship topics.
Previous to a career in mental health Elaine spent five years as a human resources professional, and uses this experience to understand how businesses are deeply impacted by the unpredictable human factor. She applies this experience to her clinical training to bring a unique perspective in helping Mindavation clients with human performance management. The skills she brings to the Intelligent Disobedience Course greatly enhance the value and the importance of the section “Dealing with Difficult People”.
Elaine earned her Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Villanova University and a B.A. in Psychopharmacology from Rutgers University. She is an approved LMFT Supervisor, as designated by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, is E.M.D.R. Level One-trained and currently acts as the Disaster Response Team A Coordinator for Adams County, CO where she performs critical incident stress management debriefings when local disasters and/or emergencies occur.
Bob McGannon, PMP

Chip Stilwell, PMP
Joe R. "Chip" Stilwell lives and works in the ocean front resort town of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He delivers project management training and provides project management services world wide. He is also considered an industry expert in the development, production, and support of software products that support the industrial safety process "lockout-tagout". (This is the process requiring high-energy sources (electricity, steam, water pressure, etc.) to be removed from a machine prior to maintenance.)
As a project management consultant, Chip has for the past 13 years taught and consulted internationally in the discipline of project management. Chip has been involved with projects ranging from the development of requirements and delivery of products with several major international and domestic electric power generation companies. Those include NRGenrgy, the “Wheelabrator” division of Waste Management, and Commonwealth Electric. Chip has also developed or updated several project management courses to incorporate recent technological developments as well as capability-maturation revisions in the organizations.
Chip is a retired U.S. Navy fighter pilot with over 4,500 hours of flying and over 500 aircraft carrier arrested landings. During his naval service, he was involved, as a project manager, in a 2.5 billion dollar 5 year project to overhaul and refit the USS Enterprise (the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier). Holding a variety of other positions, Chip was, for three years, the program manager of over 75 projects with a budget of over 350 million dollars and around 1000 employees.
Chip has a degree in Aviation Management from Auburn University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional and Aviation Safety Professional. He is rated as an Airline Transport Pilot by the FAA.
Susan Washburn
Susan Washburn, a senior consultant and trainer for Mindavation, has an international reputation as a trainer, group facilitator, educator and organizational management consultant. She works with organizations on communication skills, team building, group dynamics, strategic planning, project management, process reengineering, leadership development, multicultural issues and effective organizational change. Additionally, Ms. Washburn has authored curricula for classroom and distance learning courses on a variety of current management topics.
Ms. Washburn has extensive experience in all aspects of management, leadership, business consulting and education. She specializes in team development, leadership, virtual and global team leadership and quality. She has presented numerous business process, negotiation, and presentation skills classes and has earned a reputation for classroom excellence.
Ms. Washburn holds a B.S. from the University of the State of New York and a master's certificate in project management from the George Washington University. She has completed extensive graduate work in organizational psychology and sociology. She is certified as a facilitator for the Covey Leadership Institute, Strength Deployment Inventory, Investment in Excellence and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
Jimmie L. West, Ph.D., PMP
Jimmie L. West is the former Dean and Vice-president of the PM College, the professional development unit for PD Solutions. Dr. West gained his project management experience working in the fields of telecommunications and systems integration. Dr. West was an Associate Professor for the George Washington University and is currently an adjunct professor for both the University of Maryland’s A. J. Clark School of Engineering and George Washington University School of Business and Public Management.
Dr. West has authored several articles on team building, conflict management and schedule analysis and has served as a contributing author for a project management textbook as well presenting several papers at the Project Management Institutes annual symposiums.
He has worked with executives in several Fortune 500 companies in the area of strategic alignment, portfolio management and project governance, and delivers professional development courses in leadership, portfolio, program, project management, conflict management, team building, and strategy mapping. Dr. West also works with organizations to create competency based professional development programs including education, training and education, and professional experience.
